About venue
Kaba uulu Kozhomkul Sports Palace is a multifunctional sports and cultural complex in central Bishkek, on Togolok Moldo Street. Its main arena traditionally hosts national competitions in wrestling, sambo, volleyball, kickboxing and other sports, as well as international tournaments. The concert hall is used for concerts, festivals, ceremonial programmes, fairs and public events. The venue’s event listings may include major tournaments and championships, live music, stage shows and themed festivals. Opened in 1974, the complex is one of the city’s recognisable architectural landmarks, with a monument to Kaba uulu Kozhomkul in front of the main entrance. The venue is located near the intersection of Togolok Moldo and Ryskulov streets, among the central district’s major sports and public facilities. Visitors should check the organiser’s information in advance for entry rules, seating arrangements and parking conditions. The complex is undergoing phased reconstruction in 2026, so the current status of each event should be confirmed before travelling to the venue.
